Viral Video: A video has been doing rounds on social media wherein Pakistani Opposition leaders can be seen indulging in a fiery altercation during a live debate. Things turned ugly, resulting in a disturbing physical confrontation as both leaders resorted to hurling abuses at each other. The incident took place during an episode of Javed Chaudhry’s Express News talk show. The heated brawl broke out between Senator Afnan Ullah Khan from the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Sher Afzal Khan Marwat, from the Imran Khan-led Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

The incident began when Afnan Ullah abused former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan during the TV show. As tensions flared, Marwat lost his cool and slapped Afnan Ullah Khan. The situation turned ugly as both the leaders engaged in a violent exchange, involving kicking and aggressive physical blows.

Later PML-N leader Afnan turned to X (formerly known as Twitter) and issued a statement.  “During the talk show yesterday, Marwat launched an attack on me. While I am a staunch advocate of non-violence, I remain steadfast as a loyal supporter of Nawaz Sharif. The incident involving Marwat serves as a significant lesson, not only for all PTI members but particularly for Imran Khan. They won’t be able to perceive the bigger picture; perhaps they should consider donning some oversized black glasses,” Afnan Ullah stated in his post.
