New Delhi: The communal violence in Haryana’s Nuh claimed lives of 5 people while over 50 have been injured in the clashes so far during a procession led by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP). Meanwhile, the violence continued on Tuesday as well.
As of now, at least 22 FIR have been registered in the matter, while curfew has been imposed in 9 districts of the state.

Amid the communal violence in Haryana’s Gurgram, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) announced to hold protest in Noida in Delhi NCR, says media reports.
In the fresh incident in Gurugram, several scrap shops, furniture repairing shops and meat shops were vandalised out of outrage at Pataudi Chowk in Khandsa Road. Multiple shanties were also put on blaze in Sector-70 on Tuesday.
However, the fire department claimed that no casualities have been reported in the matter.
In Badshahpur area, nearly four eateries and scrap shops were tourched by miscreants that fuelled the communal violence there. As per media reports, over 200 men riding different vehicles carried bottles filled with petrol and poured them on public properties to set them on fire.

The violence has started to affect nearby areas such as Palwal where over 30 shanties were set on fire. Meanwhile, a man aged 26 came was killed, while a religious place was set on fire in Gurugram’s Sector 57 area, informed the police official.
In the view of violence in the state, the administration announced to shut down the internet in Sohna, Manesar and Pataudi. Owing to which, the schools have also been shut till August 2. Observing danger on lives of innocent, the office-goers are also advised to choose work from home rather than going to office.
After the violence errupted in Gurugram, the situation has been vulnerable. Police personnel have been deployed at the volatile palces. Meanwhile, the administration have asked locals to immediately dial 112 if they witness any violence or similar situation.
A curfew has been imposed in Nuh district. Security forces also held flag march in the area.
