New Delhi: A distressing case of a savage sexual assault has come to light in Ujjain district, Madhya Pradesh, echoing the harrowing Nirbhaya gang rape incident in Delhi. The incident, captured by various CCTV cameras, has been made public.
Meanwhile, Congress has launched a scathing attack on the Narendra Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). party’s Social Media and Digital Platforms Chairperson Supriya Shrinate said, “The reality is that this little girl after being raped brutally, smeared with blood walked for 8 km asking for help and people didn’t help her…What’s the police’s role in this? Why is the Chief Minister quiet? What is the home minister of MP doing? Kailash Vijayvargia stays 1 km away from the hospital in which she’s admitted. Why can they not go and find out? This is the absolute jungle raj, the absolute breakdown and collapse of law and order as far as Dalits, tribals and women in MP are concerned.”

In this horrifying event, a 12-year-old girl was observed running semi-naked on the streets of Ujjain after being brutally assaulted. She was eventually left on the road, and despite her traumatic ordeal, she managed to seek refuge. However, her search for help or a safe haven went unanswered for over 2.5 hours as she wandered the city streets.
This brutal occurrence unfolded on Badnagar Road near Dandi Ashram Road. Subsequently, the girl was taken to the hospital and later referred to Indore for further medical attention.
In the 1 minute and 7 seconds of CCTV footage, the girl can be seen in a semi-conscious state, even interacting with an elderly man, presumably seeking assistance. Based on her language, it is inferred that she hails from Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.
